Parents and Guardians,

We finished the Sun, Earth and Moon unit on Tuesday with the unit test. That has been graded and is in PowerSchool/Parent Portal. I still have a few papers that were in the no-name basket to grade as well as the A and B work. I will have them done by Wednesday night. The quarter ends on Tuesday. They will include grades through the Sun, Earth and Moon unit. I will input grades for the new unit as soon as the school pulls the 1st quarter grades. Second quarter is a continuation of first quarter, points keep adding on.  The semester grade is not an average of first and second quarter.

We started our new unit, The Atmosphere, on Wednesday. In addition to science content, this unit introduces note taking. We are writing notes for section one and two together (we read together, I show them what I wrote and explain why, and they may copy or make their own.), Sect three notes are done on their own.

I am finally able to upload assignments to the web site!  You will find links to download all of the assignments under the unit calendars. If your student does modified work, the links are below the modified unit calendar.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
